packing list

Troop Packing List:
  • Your troop's paperwork if you didn't mail it

  • First Aid Kit

  • A cooler with your name or troop number CLEARLY written on it

  • Camp Stove

  • A table on which to set your camp stove

  • Cookware: a skillet or grill for hotdogs and a large pot for boiling corn on the cob

  • Cooking Utensils

Please let us know if your troop needs help with any of these items. We have a limited number of extras we can share. We never want equipment challenges to mean girls miss out on the fun! 

Individual Packing List:
  • Tent (always better when shared with a friend!)

  • Tent stakes

  • Sleeping pad

  • Sleeping bag rated for cold temperatures

  • Pillow

  • Please limit stuffed animals to one or two

  • Camp chair or sit-upon

  • Whistle

  • Mess kit in a mesh bag for drip-drying

  • Spending money to buy items from the rafting store if desired

  • Closed toe shoes and jeans for the trail ride

  • Pants and a long sleeve shirt for the colder evenings

  • Hot hands packets to help warm up if things get cold

  • ​Clothes you can ruin (things might get messy...just sayin')

  • a plastic bag to pack your yuck clothes in

  • Coat/Jacket for layering at night

  • Cold weather hat

  • Gloves

  • Rain poncho

  • Towel and washcloth

  • Hair ties for long hair (let's be safe around the camp stoves!)

  • Girl's own lip balm, sunscreen and bug spray (No sharing, please)

  • Toothbrush, toothpaste, soap (Nothing heavily scented, please. We don't want to invite bears.)

  • Clothing for layering

  • Swim suit or quick dry clothing for rafting

  • Water shoes for rafting

  • Water bottle

  • Flashlight with extra batteries

  • ***Helmet for trail ride!*** Bike helmets work perfectly

A Sundry Stand will be available at times if your girl would like to bring a little spending money. It offers small, forgotten items such as lip balms and tooth brushes, as well as treats such as sodas, salty snacks and candy.
